Connecting with the Community

For 171 years, Greensboro College has been committed to becoming a cooperative and collaborative community partner to schools, health and human service agencies, organizations, governments, institutions and communities who impact the life of all people of Greensboro and beyond.

We believe that through our support of community program initiatives already in progress and as an advocate to address additional needed ones, we can aid in building a society where more of us will listen, learn, work and live in a spirit of acceptance, inclusiveness and greater support of one another.

Life of Christ Series

These 25 life-sized oil on canvas paintings by Wendy Wallace chronicle the life of Jesus from when the shepherds first heard about him all the way through the ascension. They opened at the Cannon House office rotunda to celebrate Christ's 2000th birthday and have traveled to various locations around the nation. The paints are now on display at Greensboro College.
